Origin Energy operates over 1000 wellheads monitored a central control facility (BCCR) operated 24/7. Origin engaged Alliance Automation to further develop the well head control system.
The scope of works delivered by Alliance Automation includes:
- Designed operator friendly and intuitive HMI interface to reduce operator interaction and workload.
- Reprogrammed RTU to insure readability and maintainability.
- Added extra process controllers to ensure well operates autonomously under most operational conditions.
- Implemented alarm management to reduce alarm floods and increase operator situation awareness.
- Factory Acceptance Testing
- Extensive Site Acceptance testing in field on operational well.
