The Leewood water treatment plant utilises reverse osmosis and brine concentration to allow treated water to be reused for irrigation.
Alliance Automation was engaged to:
- Implement all plant process logic
- Control of diesel and gas generator supplies
- Integration to existing Santos control system
- DCS development for Santos monitoring
- Design and installation of site fibre network
- Detailed site electrical design
- Design, manufacture and installation of containerised MCC
- Hazardous area design
- Site installation of MCC, cabling and instrumentation
- Commissioning
In addition to the above, Alliance Automation delivered electrical and controls design for Santos, to extend and interface to existing systems, including:
- Network modifications to service the treatment plant
- Remote monitoring of the Treatment plant to SCADA
- Irrigation pump monitoring and control
